Calvin Anderson
Mr. Anderson is Vice President of federal and community relations for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, the state’s health insurance market leader. Mr. Anderson is chairman of the Memphis Redbirds Baseball Foundation and a member of the State Election Commission. Mr. Anderson is a director of the Memphis BioWorks Foundation, the Memphis Regional Chamber of Commerce and WKNO Public Television and is active on a variety of industry working groups on healthcare policy at the state and federal levels. Previously, Mr. Anderson served in senior staff positions in the United States Senate for nearly a decade and in key sales and management posts in the insurance industry. Mr. Anderson holds a B.A. from the University of Memphis.

John Dayani, Ph.D
Dr. John Dayani is the founding CEO and Vice Chairman of Cardiovascular Services of America (CSA). In addition to founding three healthcare companies, CSA, Total eMed, Inc., and MEDIFAX, Inc., Dr. Dayani was the acting president of Kimberly Nursing prior to its sale to Lifetime Corporation in 1981. Dr. Dayani earned his B.A. and Ph.D. in engineering from Vanderbilt University.

Kimble L. Jenkins
Mr. Jenkins serves as a managing director with Morgan Keegan & Company's investment banking group. In 1998, Mr. Jenkins founded Morgan Keegan’s Private Equity Group. Throughout his career, Mr. Jenkins has focused on building value for start-up and small companies as a principal and advisor. Mr. Jenkins was a principal in several successful start-ups including Medicis Pharmaceutical and Vital Trends, Inc. Previously, Mr. Jenkins directed operations, finance and business development for Ardent Studios, an entertainment technology company. Mr. Jenkins holds a B.A. from Brown University and a JD from Georgetown University.

Scott Morris, M.D., M. Div.
Dr. Morris is an ordained Methodist minister who ministers to the region’s working poor through the Church Health Center, a faith-based health center Dr. Morris founded in 1987 and leads as executive director. Dr. Morris is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Tennessee Medical Association, the Memphis/Shelby County Medical Society and the Shelby County Mayor’s Advisory Committee on Health Policy. Dr. Morris serves as a board member for New Pathways, Inc., Memphis Academy of Health Sciences, Memphis Redbirds Baseball Foundation, and the Urban Youth Initiative. Dr. Morris holds a BA from the University of Virginia, an M. Div. from Yale University and an M.D. from Emory University.

Edward Scott, M.D.
Dr. Scott is president and chief executive officer of Mid-South Regional Blood Center, known as Lifeblood. During the past six years, Dr. Scott has fostered creation of Lifeblood Biological Services, a subsidiary expected to become a stand-alone, for-profit enterprise that will operate for the benefit of Lifeblood. Previously, Dr. Scott served with the regional blood bank operated by St. Paul Red Cross and the University of Minnesota, where Dr. Scott helped establish the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), a non-profit organization that facilitates marrow and blood stem cell transplants. Mr. Scott serves on the boards of the NMDP, Mid-South Regional Blood Center, the Lifeblood Foundation and Blood Centers Exchange. Dr. Scott is a hematologist and a bone marrow transplant surgeon. Dr. Scott holds a B.S. degree from Mississippi State University and an M.D. degree from the University of Mississippi.
